Previously: When 23-year-old maid Mia crashed her boss's funeral with an axe, the mourners thought she was insane—until a faint whisper from inside the shattered coffin changed everything.

A Dark Betrayal Unveiled

With trembling hands, Mia and Eleanor pulled away the remaining shards of the heavy wooden lid. Inside, dressed in her favorite silk gown, lay Emma. Her face was pale, and her breathing was dangerously shallow, but her eyes fluttered open. She was alive, trapped in a waking nightmare. The funeral parlor erupted into absolute chaos as mourners stood up, shouting and crying in disbelief.

Instead of showing relief, Arthur’s eyes darted around like a trapped animal. He pushed past the minister, trying to block the crowd from getting closer to the coffin.

"This is impossible! It is some kind of post-mortem muscular spasm!"
he shouted, his voice cracking with desperation.
"She is gone! Mia has desecrated my wife's body, and she must be arrested immediately!"

But Eleanor, fueled by a sudden burst of maternal strength, pushed Arthur away. She reached into the casket and cradled Emma's head.

"She is breathing, Arthur! Her heart is beating!"
she cried out, her voice filled with a mixture of joy and fierce anger.

Emma weakly turned her head toward her grandmother, her lips moving silently before a faint sound escaped. "He... he did this to me..." she whispered, her voice barely audible over the din of the room. She slowly raised a trembling finger, pointing directly at Arthur. "The tea... he made me drink the bitter tea..."

A collective gasp rippled through the chapel. The pieces of the puzzle instantly fell into place. Arthur, who had been heavily in debt, stood to inherit Emma's multi-million-dollar estate. He had poisoned her with a rare paralyzing agent that mimicked death, rushing the funeral before anyone could perform an autopsy.

Realizing his deadly scheme was fully exposed, Arthur’s expression hardened into pure malice. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small, dark glass vial.

"Stay back!"
he warned the crowd, backing toward the exit.
"Nobody move, or I will make sure none of you leave this room!"
