My Ex-Husband Threw Me and Our Unborn Child Out, Until My Father’s SUVs Arrived
Previously: When Olivia was heartlessly thrown out of her home by her ex-husband and his new lover, she made one phone call. What arrived next changed her life forever.
The Arrival of the Real Power
The heavy doors of the black SUVs flew open simultaneously. Out of the front passenger seat stepped Arthur Vance, a legendary corporate attorney and Olivia's father. Behind him, four men in sharp, tailored suits carrying heavy leather briefcases stepped out, their faces devoid of emotion. Richard’s smug expression instantly melted into a mask of pure panic. He had spent years trying to isolate Olivia from her wealthy family, believing he had successfully cut her off from their immense resources and legal protection.
"Arthur," Richard stammered, stepping down a single stair while Sarah clutched his arm in sudden terror. "This is a private domestic matter. Olivia agreed to leave."
Arthur didn't even look at Richard. He walked straight to his daughter, kneeling in the dirt to help her up. He wrapped his heavy wool coat around her shivering shoulders. "I've got you, sweetheart," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "You're safe now. Daddy's here."
Turning to face Richard, Arthur’s eyes turned to ice. One of his associate attorneys stepped forward, opening a thick folder and handing a document to Richard. Arthur spoke, his voice carrying across the courtyard with absolute authority.
"You thought the prenup you forced Olivia to sign protected this estate, Richard," Arthur said calmly. "But you forgot one crucial detail. This estate was purchased using a trust fund set up by Olivia’s grandfather. The deed was never fully transferred to you. It was leased to your LLC, which is funded entirely by Vance Enterprises."
Richard’s face drained of color as he scrambled through the papers. Sarah looked bewildered, her grip on Richard tightening. "What does that mean, Richard?" she demanded, her voice shrill. "Tell me he's lying!"
Arthur’s lead lawyer stepped forward. "It means, Mr. Croft, that you have exactly ten minutes to pack one suitcase of your own and vacate these premises. You are trespassing on Vance property."
”You are trespassing on Vance property."
