It showed Elizabeth cornering Grace, screaming abusive slurs, and physically shoving her against the wall, causing her face to scratch against the frame. William said, his voice like ice.
"And we also have audio recordings of your lawyers conspiring to forge medical documents. If you don't sign these divorce and full-custody relinquishment papers right now, both of you will spend the next ten years in a federal penitentiary."
Daniel’s face drained of all color. The lawyers behind him immediately stepped back, realizing they had been caught in a criminal conspiracy.
"Daniel, do something!"
Elizabeth shrieked, her confidence evaporating into pure terror.
But Daniel knew he was utterly defeated. With trembling hands, he signed the papers, relinquishing all rights to the child and agreeing to an immediate, uncontested divorce. Within weeks, the Harrison family business went completely bankrupt, and Elizabeth was forced to sell her beloved estate to pay off her mounting legal fees.
