The Nurse Smashed a Casket to Save a Living Woman From a Terrible Fate
Previously: When nurse Jessica disrupted a quiet funeral with an axe, the mourners thought she had lost her mind—until a pale hand reached out from the wooden casket.
The Secret in the Syringe
The funeral home erupted into absolute chaos. While several shocked mourners called emergency services, Jessica and a few brave guests worked quickly to pull Clara from the suffocating confines of the casket. Clara was weak, her skin ice-cold, and her pupils dilated, but she was undeniably alive. Jessica immediately began checking her vitals, wrapping her in a warm coat offered by a guest. David stood frozen in the corner of the room, his eyes darting toward the exit.
"How is this possible?" one of Clara's cousins cried out. "The doctor declared her dead yesterday morning!"
Jessica looked up from Clara, her eyes locking onto David. As Clara’s primary nurse, Jessica had been suspicious of Clara’s sudden deterioration. Clara had been suffering from a manageable illness, but over the last week, her condition had plummeted rapidly. Jessica remembered the strange vials she had found in the kitchen trash, and how David had suddenly dismissed her from her shift the night before Clara was declared "dead."
When the paramedics arrived, they quickly administered oxygen to Clara. As they loaded her onto the stretcher, Clara weakly grabbed Jessica’s sleeve. "David... he gave me the tea," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "He told me it would make the pain go away."
Jessica turned to look for David, but he was already slipping out the side door. Jessica shouted to the police officers who had just arrived at the scene. "Stop him! He poisoned her!" she yelled, pointing at the fleeing husband. The officers tackled David to the ground just as he reached his car, handcuffing him as the crowd watched in disbelief.
