Paramedics arrived within minutes, rushing Eleanor to the intensive care unit. Amy stayed by her side, refusing to leave the woman she had miraculously saved. As Eleanor was stabilized, the attending physician, Dr. Harris, ran a series of urgent blood tests. The results were baffling. Eleanor hadn't suffered a sudden cardiac arrest; instead, her system was flooded with Tetrodotoxin—a rare, potent paralytic that mimics death by slowing the heart rate and respiration to virtually undetectable levels.

"She was buried alive because someone wanted her to appear dead,"

Dr. Harris whispered to Amy in the hallway. Just then, Richard stormed into the ICU, flanked by his lawyer. He didn't look like a grieving husband who had just witnessed a miracle; he looked desperate.

"I demand that my wife be discharged immediately,"

Richard demanded, his voice trembling.

"She needs to rest at home, away from this media circus."

"She is in critical condition, Richard,"

Amy said, stepping between him and the door.

"And the doctors found something in her blood. She was poisoned."

Richard’s eyes darted nervously.

"That's absurd! She had a heart condition. You're just a nurse who has caused enough trouble today."

But Amy wasn't backing down. She recalled the night before Eleanor was declared dead. Richard had insisted on bringing Eleanor her nightly herbal tea at the clinic. Amy had noticed a strange, bitter scent near the cup but hadn't thought much of it until now. Furthermore, the doctor who signed the death certificate was a close personal friend of Richard's.

"You did this,"

Amy declared loudly, attracting the attention of the hospital security.

"You bribed the medical examiner and drugged her so you could inherit her estate before she could change her will!"

Richard's face flushed crimson, unable to offer a coherent defense as security moved in.
