Previously: When Chloe was forced to cater her rival's engagement gala, she didn't expect to dance. But one challenge from a handsome billionaire changed her life forever.

The Final Performance

Victoria smirked, confident that she had finally put an end to Chloe once and for all.

"Take her away,"
she ordered the guards. But before they could reach Chloe, Alex raised his hand, gesturing for them to halt.

"Just a moment,"
Alex said, his voice calm but commanding. He turned toward the massive projector screen behind the grand piano.
"Before we ruin anyone's life tonight, let's look at the security feed. As the host of this gala, I had high-definition cameras installed in every corner of the estate, including the vanity rooms."

With a click of a remote, the screen flickered to life. The video didn't show Chloe stealing. Instead, it clearly showed Victoria slipping her own diamond necklace into Chloe's catering apron while Chloe was busy setting up the champagne glasses. The crowd gasped in absolute shock. Victoria's face drained of all color as she began to stammer excuses.

"That's not all,"
Alex continued, turning his gaze back to Victoria.
"I did some research before tonight. I know about the Metropolitan Ballet scandal from three years ago. I found the bank records proving you paid off the treasurer to frame Chloe because you couldn't beat her on stage."

The ballroom erupted in murmurs of disgust directed at Victoria. Alex signaled the security guards, who promptly escorted a weeping, ruined Victoria out of the venue. Alex then walked over to Chloe, taking her hand gently.

"My foundation is launching a brand-new national ballet company,"
he said softly.
"And we are looking for our prima ballerina. Will you do us the honor?"

Tears of joy finally spilled down Chloe's cheeks as she nodded, realizing her nightmare was finally over. True talent can be suppressed, but it can never be stolen, and justice always finds its way back to the spotlight.
