Previously: When Macy confronted a rugged, scarred biker in a retro diner, her grandmother begged her to stop. But a yellowed card revealed a decades-old secret that changed everything.

Jack’s calloused fingers trembled as he picked up the yellowed photograph. The image was faded, but the faces were unmistakable. It was a picture of Jack twenty years ago, younger and smiling, his arm wrapped tightly around a beautiful, pregnant woman with Macy’s exact green eyes. Written on the back in elegant, cursive handwriting were the words: "Our miracle is safe. Never forget."

A heavy silence fell over the diner. Jack’s rugged chest heaved as he stared from the photo to Macy, and then slowly up to Helen, who was now weeping openly.

A Web of Lies Unravels

"Where did you get this?" Jack’s voice was a low, gravelly rumble, thick with suppressed emotion.
"It was in my mother’s jewelry box," Macy replied, tears welling in her eyes. "She gave it to me before she passed away last year. She told me the man with this scar was the only one who could tell me the truth about why I spent my life in this chair."

Before Jack could speak, Arthur rushed over, his face flushed with panic.

"Macy, we are leaving right now!" Arthur barked, reaching to grab the handles of her wheelchair. "This man is dangerous. He has nothing to do with us!"

Jack stood up. At over six feet tall, his massive frame towered over Arthur, casting a shadow that instantly silenced the older man.

"Sit down, Arthur," Jack growled, his eyes flashing with a dangerous fire. "Or I’ll make you."

Arthur shrank back, but Helen stepped between them, her hands clasped in prayer.

"Please, Jack," Helen sobbed. "We did what we had to do to protect her. You were dangerous. You were living a life of violence. Clara deserved better, and so did Macy!"

Macy looked between her grandmother and the terrifying biker, her mind spinning.

"What is she talking about?" Macy demanded, her voice rising. "Jack... are you my father?"

Jack looked down at Macy, his tough exterior completely crumbling as a single tear escaped his eye, tracing the path of his jagged scar.
