A tense silence fell over the immediate crowd as Lucas slowly pulled his hand from his pocket. Mia kept her smug smile plastered on her face, convinced he was bluffing. But then, with a subtle flick of his thumb, Lucas pressed a button on a sleek, leather-bound key fob. Instantly, the black Porsche’s headlights flashed twice, the side mirrors unfolded, and the doors unlocked with a sharp, heavy click.

Mia’s smile instantly froze. The color drained from her face, leaving her completely pale under the warm sunset. The onlookers gasped, and a few began to chuckle at her sudden misfortune. Lucas walked up to the driver's side, opened the door, and tossed his jacket onto the fine leather seat before turning back to face her.

"I believe you promised to drop to your knees," Lucas said, his tone perfectly calm but razor-sharp.

Stammering, Mia stepped back, her hands trembling. "This—this is a mistake! You're a delivery guy! I saw you carrying boxes! How could a nobody like you own a vehicle like this?" she shrieked, desperately trying to salvage what was left of her shattered pride.

Before Lucas could answer, an older man in a tailored suit pushed his way through the gathering crowd. It was Arthur, Mia’s father, a prominent local business owner whose shipping logistics company had been struggling for months. Arthur looked at Lucas, his eyes widening in sheer panic, and then looked at his daughter's horrified expression.

"Mia! What on earth are you doing?" Arthur hissed, grabbing his daughter's arm. "Do you have any idea who this is?"

Mia stared at her father, completely bewildered. "Dad, he's just a delivery boy! He's trying to humiliate me!" she cried out.

"Silence!" Arthur snapped, turning back to Lucas with sweat breaking out on his forehead. "Mr. Vance, please forgive my daughter. She doesn't know what she's saying."
