Previously: When a group of rugged bikers pulls up to Martha's quiet suburban home, a grieving mother discovers the shocking truth her late soldier son hid from her for years.

Before Martha could find the words to respond, the screech of tires drew her attention back to the street. A sleek, black government sedan pulled up directly behind the motorcycles. From the driver’s seat stepped Colonel Vance, a stern man in a crisp military uniform whose cold gaze immediately locked onto the canvas duffel bag resting at Jack’s feet.

Jack’s demeanor shifted instantly. His grieving expression hardened into a mask of pure steel. Behind him, the other riders stood up from their bikes, forming a silent, imposing wall of leather and muscle. The air on the sun-drenched porch suddenly grew icy cold.

The Colonel's Threat

"Step away from the bag, civilian," Colonel Vance commanded as he marched up the driveway, his hand resting authoritatively on his belt. "Classified military property is inside. Hand it over immediately, or you will all be facing federal charges."

Martha looked between the powerful military officer she had trusted for years and the rugged biker who claimed her son was a hero. "Classified property?" Martha asked, her voice shaking but resolute. "This was my son's bag. What are you trying to hide, Colonel?"

"Your son’s death wasn’t an accident, Martha," Jack whispered quickly, keeping his body positioned between her and the colonel. "Inside that bag is a journal and a flash drive. Leo discovered that Vance was selling military-grade equipment to black-market dealers. He was going to expose him. That's why he was targeted."

Colonel Vance drew closer, his face twisted in a sneer. "These men are outlaws and liars, Martha. They are using your grief to manipulate you. Give me the bag, or I will have no choice but to involve the local police and ruin your family's reputation forever." Martha stood at a crossroads, holding the key to her son's legacy in her trembling hands.
