The room erupted into chaos. Megan groaned in agony on the floor, clutching her bruised jaw and spitting blood, her fake tears instantly replaced by genuine shock and terror. George paid her no mind as he rushed to his mother’s bedside. Eleanor was gasping for air, her chest heaving violently. George gently stroked her forehead, desperately trying to soothe her. "I'm here, Mom. I've got you. You're safe now," he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion.

Within seconds, hospital security and medical staff flooded into the room, alerted by the commotion and the spiking monitor. Megan, seeing her opportunity, scrambled to her feet and pointed a trembling finger at her husband.

"He’s insane!" Megan screamed, trying to sound like a victim. "He just burst in and attacked me! He has PTSD! Arrest him!"

But George stood his ground, his military posture imposing and unshakeable. He demanded that the hospital staff call the police immediately. Eleanor, finally catching her breath, pointed a shaking finger at Megan. In a weak, trembling voice, she revealed the horrifying truth to the gathered doctors. Megan had been systematically abusing her for months, threatening to cut off her life-support machine if she didn't sign over the deed to the family home and her entire life savings.

Megan vehemently denied the accusations, claiming Eleanor was senile and confused. However, George reached into his pocket and pulled out his smartphone. Before deploying, suspicious of Megan's sudden eagerness to care for his wealthy mother, George had hidden a tiny, motion-activated nanny cam disguised as a USB charger in the corner of the room. It had been streaming directly to a secure cloud server, capturing every single moment of Megan's cruelty.
