A Son Tripped His Elderly Mother Outside the VIP Ward While His Wife Laughed
Previously: When Frances arrived at the VIP maternity ward to see her new grandson, her son Henry tripped her, scattering her meager groceries while his wife Olivia laughed from inside.

Tears stung Frances's eyes as she struggled to sit up, her bruised knees throbbing against the cold floor. Henry sneered down at her, adjusting his cuffs. "You don't belong here, Mother," he whispered, his voice dripping with venom. "Look at you. You're embarrassing us in front of the staff. Olivia and I don't want your cheap junk near our son." Inside the room, Olivia tapped on the glass, mouthing the word "Go" while waving her manicured hand dismissively.
Before Henry could summon security to drag his mother away, a commanding voice echoed down the hallway.
"Is there a problem here, Mr. Sterling?"
Henry turned to see Dr. Julian Vance, the hospital’s Chief of Medicine and a primary shareholder of the medical group. Henry immediately shifted his posture, offering a sycophantic smile. "Ah, Dr. Vance! No problem at all. Just an elderly trespasser causing a scene. I was just having her removed."
Dr. Vance ignored Henry entirely. He knelt on the polished tiles, carefully gathering the scattered apples and gently helping Frances to her feet. To Henry’s utter horror, Dr. Vance looked at Frances with deep respect and warmth.
"Mrs. Sterling, I am so incredibly sorry. I had no idea you were visiting today,"Dr. Vance said, brushing the dust from her brown winter coat.
Henry’s jaw dropped. "Dr. Vance, you know this woman? She’s just a poor..."
"She is the sole beneficiary of the Arthur Sterling Trust, Henry," Dr. Vance interrupted, his voice cutting through the silence like a scalpel. "And as the executor of your late father's estate, I must remind you that your entire business venture is funded by her grace. If she decides to withdraw her support, you have nothing."
