"She isn't signing anything, Helen," James said, stepping closer. "And if you or your lawyers ever come near Grace or her child again, I will personally destroy everything you've built."

Helen laughed mockingly. "And how do you plan to do that, James? You walked away from this family years ago. You have no power here."

James pulled a flash drive from his pocket and held it up. "I still have access to the family trust's digital archives," he revealed. "While auditing the accounts last week, I found the offshore shell companies you've been using to hide millions from the IRS. I also have proof of Carter's embezzlement from the family firm."

The smirk vanished from Helen's face, replaced by a sudden, terrifying pale. Carter gasped, finally looking up with wide, panicked eyes.

"If you attempt to take Grace’s baby, or if you ever harass her again, this evidence goes straight to the federal prosecutors," James warned. "Now, get out of our sight."

Terrified of losing their wealth and freedom, Helen grabbed her lawyers and fled the clinic, with Carter scurrying behind her like a beaten dog. They never bothered Grace again.
