Victoria’s hand trembled as she reached out to touch the wet photograph. The security guards of the hotel began to rush toward them, sensing trouble, but Victoria raised a sharp hand to stop them. She looked at Liam, her eyes wide with a mixture of terror and profound sorrow. The boy she thought was gone forever was standing right in front of her.

"Liam..." she whispered, the name tasting like ash on her tongue. "It can't be. They told me you didn't survive."
