Previously: When 18-year-old Leo disrupted his sister's funeral with a sledgehammer, everyone thought he had lost his mind. But what he uncovered inside the sealed casket sent chills down everyone's spine.

The Unmasking of a Monster

The sight of Clara alive sent a shockwave through the chapel. Sarah screamed, "Oh my God! She's breathing!" The mourners erupted into utter chaos, pushing past the pews in a desperate bid to see. David’s hand trembled on his weapon, his cold composure finally slipping. He realized his carefully constructed lie was crumbling in front of dozens of witnesses. He had declared Clara dead after a faked medical emergency, intending to collect her massive inheritance while keeping her drugged and hidden away.

"Don't move, any of you!" David yelled, pointing his gun wildly at Leo and then at the crowd. "She's sick! This is a delusion!" But the crowd wasn't listening anymore. Leo ignored the barrel of the gun pointed at him and used his bare hands to tear away the splintered wood of the casket. He reached inside, gently peeling the suffocating grey duct tape from his sister's lips.

"Leo... he did this to me," Clara gasped, coughing violently as tears poured down her pale cheeks. "He drugged me. He was going to bury me alive for the trust fund."

The revelation hung in the air like a thunderclap. David’s face turned pale. He backed toward the chapel entrance, his eyes darting around like a trapped animal. He had spent months planning this, convincing the local corrupt coroner to sign off on a fake death certificate while keeping Clara sedated in a soundproof basement. He had only put her in the casket hours before the service, planning to exhume her later under the cover of night and vanish with the millions left by her biological father.

But Leo had noticed the discrepancies—the locked basement door, the missing sedatives, and David's sudden rush to have a closed-casket funeral. Leo had risked everything, including his own life, to prove his gut instinct was right.
