Judge Charles took a deep breath, removing his spectacles to wipe his eyes. The courtroom remained entirely still, suspended in the heavy emotion of Lincoln's plea.

"Mr. Lincoln,"

the judge began, his voice gravelly but surprisingly gentle.

"The devotion you have shown to your brother is undeniable. However, the court must operate within the boundaries of the law. We must ensure Tristan's long-term security."

Just as Mrs. Gable began to smirk, believing the case was won, the heavy wooden doors at the back of the courtroom creaked open. A tall, sharply dressed man carrying a leather briefcase stepped inside. He had an aura of quiet authority that immediately drew every eye in the room.

"Your Honor, if I may approach,"

the man said, his voice confident.

"My name is Arthur Pendelton. I am the senior partner at Pendelton & Associates, and I represent the estate of the late Thomas and Eleanor Miller."

Furthermore, there is an amendment to their will that details the true nature of their family's assets—assets that were hidden to protect the boys from predatory relatives."

Mrs. Gable stood up, protesting.

"Your Honor, this is highly irregular! We have no record of any such trust or wealth."

"That is because it was kept under a corporate shield,"

Arthur replied coldly, turning to look at her.

"And it proves that Lincoln is not only financially capable of raising his brother, but he is also the designated executor of a multi-million dollar estate."
