Judge William slammed his hand on the desk, his solemn eyes turning into daggers as he looked at the state attorney. "Is this true?" the judge demanded. "This document outlines a multi-million dollar trust established for Logan and Tommy, managed by Ms. Vance, which was deliberately omitted from the state’s financial assessment of the family."

The state attorney stammered, unable to find his voice. Samantha stepped forward, placing a comforting hand on Logan's shaking shoulder. She explained that she was their mother’s estranged sister. Years ago, a bitter family feud had kept them apart, but after the tragic accident, Samantha discovered that a greedy distant uncle had conspired with the state attorney to hide the trust. Judge William looked at the corrupt attorney and ordered an immediate investigation. Then, his face softened as he looked down at the two brothers. With a swift strike of his gavel, he made his ruling. "In light of this new evidence, custody of Tommy is granted to Logan, with Samantha Vance appointed as co-guardian. This court is adjourned."

Logan fell to his knees again, but this time, his tears were of pure, unadulterated joy. Tommy threw his small arms around his big brother's neck, laughing through his tears.
