A Teenager Saves an Injured Biker Only to Realize Who He Really Is
Previously: When nineteen-year-old Tyler stopped to help a crashed biker on a misty country road, he had no idea the injured man wore a patch that held the key to his own forgotten past.
Secrets in the Mist
As Tyler helped the injured man sit up against a mossy boulder, the silver locket around Tyler’s neck slipped out from his wet hoodie. It swayed gently in the dim light. The biker’s eyes instantly locked onto the silver heirloom, and his rugged face went completely pale, his breathing turning shallow.
"Where did you get that?" the man gasped, reaching out a trembling, blood-stained hand to touch the metal. "That locket..."
Tyler swallowed hard, his heart hammering against his ribs. "It belonged to my mother, Sarah," he replied, searching the man’s eyes. "My name is Tyler."

Tears welled in the biker’s eyes. "Tyler..." he whispered, his voice cracking with an emotion he couldn't contain. It was him. Silas. The father Tyler had spent his entire life believing had abandoned him. But before Tyler could voice his years of built-up anger, Silas grabbed his arm with surprising urgency.
"Tyler, you have to leave right now. You don't understand the danger you're in just by being near me," Silas urged, his voice filled with genuine panic.
Tyler demanded answers, refusing to move. Silas quickly explained the painful truth: nineteen years ago, Sarah’s powerful, wealthy stepfather had threatened to destroy Silas and ruin Sarah's life if Silas didn't disappear forever. Silas had fled to protect them, living a hard life on the road while keeping a distant, silent watch over them. But now, the past had caught up.
Before Tyler could process the revelation, two sets of bright headlights pierced the thick fog. Two dark SUVs roared down the highway and screeched to a halt. Several men in dark suits stepped out, their expressions cold and menacing. One of them stepped forward, a cruel smile spreading across his face as he looked at the injured Silas and the young man standing beside him.
