Previously: When nineteen-year-old Leo took the ballroom floor on carbon-fiber running blades with his sister Clara, they didn't just dance—they shattered years of cruel family lies and reclaimed their rightful inheritance.

The Bitter Confrontation

As the applause subsided, Leo and Clara stepped off the floor, flushed with excitement. But their celebration was cut short. Uncle Richard stepped into their path, his face twisted in a sneer. He had spent the last five years trying to control the family estate, claiming Leo was unfit to inherit his share due to his disability. When Clara had used her own savings to purchase Leo's cutting-edge running blades, Richard had accused her of wasting family resources.

"A lovely performance," Richard whispered, his voice dripping with venom. "But a circus act won't change the terms of your grandfather's will, Leo. You are still dependent, and the estate remains under my stewardship."

Clara stepped forward, her eyes flashing with fire. She had spent years quietly investigating the "accident" that had cost Leo his legs, as well as the suspicious ledger entries in Richard’s business accounts. She pulled a folded document from the inner pocket of her sleek pantsuit.

"Actually, Richard, the stewardship ends tonight," Clara said, her voice steady and clear enough for nearby guests to hear. "I received the final forensic audit this morning. Not only did you embezzle the trust fund meant for Leo’s rehabilitation, but we also found the mechanic's report from the night of the crash. The brake lines on Leo's car didn't fail by accident."

Richard’s face drained of color. He tried to laugh it off, but several prominent family board members had already gathered around, whispering furiously. The golden atmosphere of the ballroom suddenly felt suffocating as the truth began to unravel in public. Leo stepped forward, standing tall on his blades. "You thought you could break me, Uncle Richard," Leo said softly. "But you only made us stronger. And tonight, everyone knows what you did."

And tonight, everyone knows what you did."
