Previously: When Chloe was pushed from a luxury yacht by her own husband, she thought it was the end. But her sister's swift, shocking retaliation was only the beginning of a dark family truth.

The Dark Truth Surfaces

The sound of two heavy splashes echoed across the open water. Sarah didn't waste a single second looking down at Mark, who was thrashing wildly in the wake of the yacht, screaming for help. Instead, she threw a life preserver directly toward her sister. Chloe, gasping for air and shivering in her soaked linen dress, grabbed the ring. With agonizing effort, Sarah hauled her sister back up the swim ladder and onto the safety of the deck. Chloe collapsed, coughing up seawater, her body trembling from both the cold and the sheer shock of her husband's sudden violence.

Meanwhile, Mark was struggling to stay afloat. He swam toward the ladder, his teal polo heavy with water, his face pale with rage and exhaustion. As he finally dragged himself onto the deck, dripping wet and shivering, he pointed an angry finger at Sarah.

"Are you crazy? You could have killed me!" Mark yelled, his voice cracking. "I was just playing around! It was a joke!"

Sarah stood her ground, stepping between Mark and her shivering sister. "A joke?" Sarah spat, her voice dripping with venom. "You tried to drown her, Mark. Just like you tried to drown your financial sins. I know everything."

Chloe looked up, her eyes wide with confusion. "Sarah, what are you talking about?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

Sarah pulled a sealed plastic bag from her kaftan pocket. Inside was Mark’s secondary burner phone, which she had snatched from his bag earlier that morning. "He didn't bring us on this trip to reconcile, Chloe," Sarah revealed, her eyes locked on Mark's shrinking figure. "He took out a massive life insurance policy on you last week. He’s deep in debt with some very dangerous people, and he wanted to make your disappearance look like a tragic accident at sea. I saw the messages. I was watching him the entire day because I knew he was planning something."
