The Real Reason Five Tough Bikers Walked Away From a Shivering Little Girl

The rain drummed a relentless, heavy rhythm against the condensation-fogged windows of the Highway 99 diner. Inside, the air smelled of burnt coffee and maple syrup. In a chrome-trimmed red booth, five rugged members of the Iron Brotherhood motorcycle club sat in silence, their weathered leather vests bearing the scars of thousands of miles on the asphalt.
