Previously: When a corrupt officer frames elite K9 trainer Amanda to seize her dogs, he expects her to break. Instead, the deadly pack turns on their new handlers to protect their true alpha.

The Alpha's Justice

Before William could pull the trigger, the heavy metal gates of the compound screeched open. Three black SUVs tore onto the wet concrete, their sirens wailing. Armed agents from the State Internal Affairs division spilled out, weapons drawn and aimed directly at William. Behind them walked Chief Davis, the head of the entire department, holding a tablet displaying a live video feed.

"Drop the weapon, William!" Chief Davis bellowed. "It's over. We've been monitoring your feed, and your confession on this compound was just broadcasted directly to our servers."

It turned out that Amanda had anticipated William’s move. Before she was arrested, she had hidden a micro-audio recorder in her collar, and Officer Lewis had secretly been working with Internal Affairs to catch William in the act of abusing his power. The "arrest" had been a calculated sting operation to get William to expose his true motives on camera.

William slowly lowered his gun, his knees buckling as two agents rushed forward to cuff him. The very handcuffs that had bound Amanda were transferred to his wrists. Officer Lewis walked over to Amanda, offering a sincere apology as he unlocked her restraints.

With her hands free, Amanda knelt on the wet concrete, wrapping her arms around Shadow and the other three dogs. They whined happily, licking her face and nudging her hands, their protective stance softening into pure, joyful affection. An officer brought over her civilian clothes and her official trainer's jacket, which she slipped on with pride.

As William was dragged away to a police cruiser, Amanda stood up, flanked by her loyal pack. She had lost her freedom for a day, but she had saved her dogs from a lifetime of exploitation, proving that true loyalty cannot be bought, sold, or commanded by a badge—it must be earned.
