Previously: Jessica was dismissed by elite tactical instructors as a fragile amateur. But when she picked up the heavy rifle, her flawless shots revealed a shocking secret.

The Final Shot

The three guards drew their weapons, pointing them directly at Jessica. The atmosphere turned lethal in an instant. Ryan stepped forward, attempting to de-escalate the situation, but Marcus’s men ignored him, their eyes locked on Jessica.

Jessica knew she had only seconds. Instead of pointing the rifle at the guards, she quickly pressed a concealed release lever on the buttplate of her father's rifle. A small, metallic cylinder slid out into her palm. She held it up for everyone to see.

"You want this, Marcus?" she called out, her voice echoing with absolute authority. "The complete ledger of your black-market deals. It's all right here."

Marcus’s eyes widened in panic. He reached for his own sidearm, but before he could raise it, Ryan unexpectedly drew his weapon and aimed it directly at Marcus’s chest.

"Stand down, Marcus," Ryan ordered, his voice cold and commanding. "I'm not just a range instructor. I'm with Internal Affairs. We've been waiting for Jessica to find the missing link, and you just walked right into our trap."

Marcus froze, his face turning pale as he realized he had been completely outmaneuvered. Within moments, sirens wailed in the distance as state police cruisers, tipped off by Ryan's team, surrounded the facility. Marcus and his guards were forced to drop their weapons and were swiftly handcuffed.

Ryan turned to Jessica, a look of profound respect in his eyes. He reached out and shook her hand.

"You're one hell of a marksman, Jessica," Ryan said with a smile. "And your father would be incredibly proud. Your name is cleared."

As the police cruisers drove away, Jessica looked at her father’s rifle, feeling a deep sense of peace wash over her. She had finally reclaimed her life, proving that no matter how hard they tried to bury the truth, a true warrior always finds her target.
