They Tried to Humiliate Me at the Military Outpost, But My True Identity Saved Me
Previously: When Sergeant Tyler tried to publicly humiliate Megan by shaving her head at a dusty military outpost, he thought he was breaking a rebellious soldier. He had no idea who she really was.
Justice Served
Megan looked up at Colonel Vance and smiled calmly. "Colonel, look at the dates on those forged transfer sheets. They are dated over the last three months, signed by 'Private' Megan Carter."
Vance flipped through the pages, nodding. "Yes, they are."

Megan’s smile widened. "Three months ago, I was officially promoted to Special Agent, which means my legal and military signature changed. My security clearance and official signing name became Agent Carter, registered in the federal database. A private's signature on those dates is legally invalid and impossible. He forged my old signature from my public personnel file because he didn't have access to my updated undercover credentials."
The civilian investigator quickly ran the dates and signatures on his secure tablet. Within seconds, a red "INVALID SIGNATURE" warning flashed on the screen. The proof of forgery was absolute.
Tyler’s face went completely white. He stumbled backward, realizing that his elaborate plan to frame Megan had actually sealed his fate. The very documents he had created to save himself were now the ultimate proof of his guilt and fraud.
"Arrest him," Colonel Vance ordered.
The military police immediately stepped forward, slamming Tyler onto the hood of a vehicle and ratcheting handcuffs onto his wrists. The soldiers who had held Megan down quickly apologized, their faces red with embarrassment, as they sliced her zip-ties free.
Megan stood up, rubbing her wrists, and looked at Tyler as he was dragged away. He had tried to use humiliation as a weapon to break her, but in the end, his own arrogance had destroyed him. As she adjusted her uniform, she knew that justice had finally been served at the dusty outpost. In the battle between power and truth, integrity will always stand tall while corruption crumbles under its own weight.
