"You think a credit card can save him?" Marcus sneered. "Arthur signed a predatory clause. The moment the clock struck noon today, the debt matured into an immediate foreclosure. It's not just fifty thousand anymore. To buy out the contract now, it takes a quarter of a million dollars in certified funds, or I take his home and demolish it for my new luxury high-rise. He has ten minutes."
