Previously: When an arrogant billionaire offered a humble waitress fifty thousand dollars to dance at a high-society gala, he expected a cheap laugh. Instead, she walked in and completely ruined his life.

The Dance of Revelations

Sarah glided across the marble floor with an effortless grace that held the entire room captive. Every eye was glued to her as the orchestra began to play a dramatic, sweeping waltz. Alex, recovering from his initial shock, stepped forward to meet her in the center of the ballroom. He wanted to humiliate her, but as he took her hand, he realized he was the one out of his depth. Sarah moved like a professional, her emerald gown swirling around them like a mesmerizing wave.

As they spun under the dazzling chandeliers, Alex tried to regain his arrogant composure.

"I have to admit, you cleaned up well,"
he whispered, his grip tightening on her waist.
"But don't get too comfortable. This is still my world, and tomorrow you go back to serving drinks."

Sarah smiled, her eyes flashing with a cold, sharp fire. She leaned in close, her voice barely a whisper against his ear, yet carrying the weight of a sledgehammer.

"You really don't recognize me, do you, Alex? Or did your father never show you the photos of the family he ruined to build this empire?"

Alex’s steps faltered, his face paling under the ballroom lights. "What are you talking about?" he stammered, trying to keep up with the rhythm of the dance. Sarah didn't let him stop. She guided him effortlessly, forcing him to keep dancing as the crowd watched in awe.

"My name isn't just Sarah,"
she whispered as they spun toward the grand staircase.
"My full name is Sarah Vance. My father, Julian Vance, built this very hotel. The same hotel your father acquired through fraudulent bankruptcy ten years ago, driving my family to absolute ruin. I didn't take this job to serve you champagne, Alex. I took it to get close enough to destroy you."
