Mark pulled out his phone and made a quick call. "George? It's Mark. I'm at the highway diner. Cancel the lease renewal for this property immediately. We are taking it over." Arthur's face drained of color. He had leased this diner building from a major commercial real estate firm for decades, and he suddenly realized that the man standing in front of him in the tweed jacket was the billionaire owner of that very firm.

As Arthur stood frozen in shock, Lily reached out and grabbed Sarah's hand. "Don't go," she pleaded, her voice stronger this time. The sound of his granddaughter's voice seemed to pierce through Arthur's bitter exterior. The elderly manager slumped against the booth, his anger evaporating into tears.
