Richard lay on the floor, clutching his shattered jaw, blood dripping onto his pristine white shirt. He looked up at Marcus with a mixture of shock and sheer hatred. Slowly, he scrambled to his feet, trying to regain his shattered dignity. "Do you have any idea who I am?" Richard spat, pointing a trembling, manicured finger at the soldier. "I own half the board of this hospital! You and your mutt are going to rot in a military prison for assaulting me!"

Clara struggled to her feet, leaning heavily against the wall as Marcus kept a protective arm around her. Rex stood at attention, his teeth bared, a low growl vibrating in his chest. "He's right, Marcus," Clara whispered, her voice trembling. "He has everyone in his pocket. He discovered that I found the offshore accounts. He’s been embezzling millions from the pediatric charity fund to pay off his corporate debts."

Suddenly, the heavy double doors at the end of the hall burst open. Mr. Henderson, the head of hospital security and a known associate of Richard, rushed in with three guards. "What is going on here?" Henderson demanded, immediately looking at Richard's bloody face. He pointed at Marcus. "Arrest that soldier! He’s trespassing and has assaulted a prominent hospital donor!"

"Don't you dare touch him!" Clara cried out, stepping forward. "Richard just attacked me! Henderson, you know exactly what he was doing here. You helped him bypass the security logs!"

The guards hesitated, looking between the decorated soldier, the fierce German Shepherd, and their nervous boss. Marcus didn't flinch. Instead, he reached into his tactical vest and pulled out a small, active military-grade body camera. "Go ahead, make your move," Marcus warned coolly. "This entire interaction, including your boss stomping on a nurse and your attempt to cover it up, is being broadcast live to a secure military server. If your guards step forward, they are accessories to a federal crime."
