Previously: When Philip violently kicked a poor elderly woman outside his wife's hospital room, he thought he was just clearing out trash. He had no idea he just ruined his own life.

A Dark Secret Unveiled

Philip stepped back into the suite, adjusting his cuffs with a smug, self-satisfied smirk. He expected his wife to be relieved that the "nuisance" had been cleared away. Instead, he was met with a look of absolute hatred that chilled him to the bone. Olivia threw open the glass door and rushed to the hallway, ignoring her own post-labor pain. She threw herself onto the cold floor beside the groaning elderly woman, tears streaming down her face.

"Oh my God, Mama! Are you okay? Please, speak to me!" Olivia sobbed, cradling Rose’s head in her lap while trying to gather the scattered apples.

Philip froze, his face draining of color. He stared at his wife, then at the bruised, trembling woman on the floor. "Mama?" he stammered, his arrogant composure instantly evaporating. "Olivia, what are you talking about? This is just some homeless beggar. Your mother died years ago in a fire!"

Olivia looked up at him, her eyes burning with a fierce, protective rage. She helped Rose sit up against the wall, gently wiping a smudge of dirt from the elderly woman's forehead. Rose looked at Olivia with wet, apologetic eyes, whispering that she only wanted to see the baby.

"She didn't die, Philip," Olivia hissed, her voice trembling with a mixture of grief and fury. "My father lied to everyone to protect his reputation because she was poor. I found her a year ago. She is my mother, the grandmother of our son. And you just kicked her."

The silence in the hallway was deafening. Philip's mind raced as the gravity of his monstrous actions began to sink in. He had not just assaulted a defenseless stranger; he had brutally attacked his own mother-in-law in front of his wife.
