A Wealthy Stepmother Forced My Daughter to Scrub the Floor, Unaware I Saw Everything
Previously: When Henry returned home early, he expected a peaceful evening. Instead, he found his beloved daughter on her knees sobbing, forced into servitude by his cruel new wife.
A Sweet Revenge
Henry reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone, calmly dialing a number. "Arthur, it's Henry. Initiate the immediate dissolution of the marital estate, and prepare the eviction papers for Helen. Yes, effective tonight." He ended the call and slipped the phone back into his pocket, looking at his stunned wife.
Helen laughed nervously, though fear was beginning to creep into her eyes. "You're bluffing," she stammered. "You can't evict me from my own home! We are married, Henry!"
"That's where you are wrong," Henry replied coldly. "This historic estate never belonged to me, Helen. It was left entirely in a trust for Olivia by her late mother. I am merely the trustee until her twenty-fifth birthday. You are standing on Olivia's property."
Helen gasped, her face draining of all color. But Henry wasn't finished. He stepped closer, his presence commanding and absolute. "Furthermore, do you remember the prenuptial agreement you signed so eagerly? The one you barely read because you were too busy planning our wedding? It contains a very specific clause. Any proven emotional or physical abuse toward my daughter results in an immediate nullification of all spousal support. You leave with exactly what you brought into this marriage: nothing."
The realization hit Helen like a physical blow. Her green velvet dress, her expensive jewelry, her high-society status—all of it vanished in an instant. Within an hour, security arrived to escort a hysterical Helen out of the mansion, her belongings hastily packed into cheap cardboard boxes.
With the toxic presence finally gone, Henry turned to his daughter. He gently took the scrub brush from her hand and threw it aside, pulling her into a tight, protective embrace. "I am so sorry I wasn't here to protect you, sweetheart," he whispered, tears shining in his own eyes. "But I promise you, no one will ever make you feel small again." Olivia smiled through her tears, knowing she was finally safe.
True family loyalty cannot be bought, and those who attempt to build their happiness on the humiliation of others will always find themselves ruined in the end.
