Before Mark could comprehend her words, a nurse gently pushed open the door, leading a small boy into the room. He had the exact same fiery red hair and bright green eyes as Lily. Mark stared in absolute disbelief. He was looking at a boy who was the spitting image of himself at that age. Lily had a twin brother. Mark turned back to Johanda, his voice cracking with emotion as he held her fragile hand.

"Twins, Mark,"

Johanda whispered, tears escaping the corners of her eyes.

"I wanted to tell you. I wanted us to be a family. But your father... he found out I was pregnant. He threatened to ruin my parents' business and take the babies away if I didn't disappear forever."
