Previously: A gala's glamour shattered as a wealthy doctor insulted a humble one. But when the governor's son fell gravely ill, the true hero emerged, exposing a dangerous secret.

The Antidote and the Aftermath

The storm outside seemed to mirror the internal crisis. Thunder rumbled, shaking the opulent penthouse. Noah, his movements precise and economical, tore open his scuffed field kit with teeth and fingers. He extracted a small glass vial containing a clear liquid – the pralidoxime antidote. With a sharp, decisive *pop*, he snapped the vial's neck. Ten cubic centimeters were drawn into a gleaming metal syringe. Ignoring the fluttering eyelid and the pinpoint, unreactive pupil, Noah plunged the needle swiftly and accurately through Julian's silk lapel, into the subclavian vein.

"Clear his airway and hold his cervical spine—administering full antagonist sequence now!"

Noah's voice was calm, commanding, cutting through the residual panic. Courtney, still paralyzed by Noah's grip, could only watch, his throat bobbing as he swallowed hard. Cold sweat trickled down his temple, disappearing into the collar of his expensive tuxedo. He was witnessing a master at work, a stark contrast to his own flustered incompetence.

Then, a miracle. Julian drew a massive, shuddering gasp of air. Color, a healthy pink, flooded his lips, and his rigid limbs softened, collapsing into the recovery position. Governor Richard, Julian’s father, who had been frozen in horror, now dropped to his knees, tears of relief streaming down his face. He grasped Noah's clay-stained sleeve, his gratitude overwhelming.

Noah rose slowly, towering over the disgraced Dr. Sterling. He calmly wiped a smudge of engine grease and mud from his knuckle. The lightning flashed again, illuminating the scene in stark clarity. Courtney’s face was a portrait of ruined disgrace, his jaw hanging slack.

"Your million-dollar penthouse diploma couldn't catch a fatal sting, Courtney—send the dry-cleaning bill to my county clinic."

Noah’s quiet whisper was more devastating than any shout. The arrogance of the city doctor had been exposed, not just to Noah, but to everyone present. True skill, born from necessity and experience, had triumphed over a superficial education. The storm outside began to recede, leaving behind a quiet, profound sense of justice served.
