"Actually, Thomas, you are the one who is finished,"

Evelyn said, pulling an official-looking document from her purse.

"Did you forget the terms of our divorce and the restructuring of Vance Financial? The majority shares of the holding company were placed in a trust for Chloe, to be fully transferred to her the moment she married."

Thomas’s face drained of color. He scrambled for words, but Evelyn continued.

"As of today, Chloe is the majority shareholder of Vance Financial. You don't own the company anymore, Thomas. You work for her."

Chloe looked at her father, her expression hardening with newfound strength.

"Get out of my wedding, Thomas,"

she said quietly but firmly.

"And on Monday, expect a review of your position as CEO."

With his power stripped away in front of everyone, Thomas could only stare in stunned silence before turning and fleeing the church. The congregation erupted into cheers. Caleb and Chloe turned back to the priest, their smiles radiant. They finished their vows, proving that when you choose love over fear, the universe has a way of balancing the scales.
