My Boyfriend Thought My Biker Family Was Going to End Him

Leo scrambled to his feet, nearly knocking over his glass of water. His mind raced through every possible scenario. Had Lily set him up? Was she secretly involved with a dangerous gang? He had only been dating her for six months, and during that time, she had always kept her family life a complete mystery. Now, seeing her command a group of hardened bikers made his blood run cold. He took a step back, preparing to run, but the heavy footsteps of the Iron Brotherhood echoed closer.

The Unexpected Target

But to Leo's absolute shock, Marcus and his men didn't even glance in his direction. Instead, they bypassed his table entirely and formed a solid, human wall of leather and muscle right in front of the diner's glass entrance. Just as they secured the doorway, the bell above the door chimed. Two men in dark trench coats stepped inside, but they immediately stopped dead in their tracks, staring directly into the chests of four towering bikers.

Leo recognized the men in the trench coats instantly. They were collectors working for Silas Vance, a notorious local loan shark. Months ago, Leo's younger brother had foolishly borrowed money to save their mother's medical clinic, and Silas had been hunting Leo ever since to extort the cash. Leo had kept this terrifying burden entirely to himself, never telling Lily a single word to protect her from the danger. Or so he thought.

Lily walked over to Leo, her expression softening as she wrapped her hand around his trembling fingers.

"Did you really think I wouldn't notice you looking over your shoulder every single day, Leo?"

she asked softly. Marcus turned around, his stern face breaking into a surprisingly warm, rumbling laugh.

"Nobody threatens family,"

the giant biker growled, looking from Lily to Leo.

"And whether you like it or not, kid, you're family now."
