Thomas looked as if he might faint, stammering apologies that fell on deaf ears. Marcus turned his full attention to Leo.

"Leo, you have a rare and beautiful heart. The world needs more people like you. I am purchasing this cafe outright from the corporate chain tomorrow. I want you to run it as the general manager, with a salary that will fully fund your college education."
