Previously: When the kingdom's fiercest warrior failed to draw the legendary sword, a dirt-smudged outcast stepped forward. What happened next shocked the entire realm and changed his destiny forever.

The True King Rises

Just as Borin’s loyal guards took their first step forward, a towering figure emerged from the thick mist. It was Sir Caleb, an old, scarred knight who had served the true king before the betrayal and had lived in exile ever since. Caleb drew his sword, stepping protectively in front of Arthur.

Lower your weapons!
Caleb’s booming voice echoed through the gorge.
You stand in the presence of your true king, Arthur Pendragon. Look at the blade! The sword only answers to the blood of the righteous!

The soldiers, recognizing the legendary knight and seeing the undeniable proof of the glowing sword, lowered their spears one by one. They realized they had been serving a usurper and a traitor. Seeing his men desert him, Borin lunged forward in a desperate, final attempt to slay Arthur himself. But Arthur, guided by the ancient spirits of his ancestors, raised Ignis. With a single, swift strike, he shattered Borin’s dark iron sword into a thousand pieces, sending the tyrant crashing to the ground.

Borin looked up, defeated and trembling, as Arthur held the glowing tip of the legendary blade at his throat. Instead of taking his life, Arthur lowered the sword.

I will not rule through blood and betrayal, as you did,
Arthur declared, his voice carrying the true weight of a king.
You will face trial for your crimes against the crown, and this kingdom will finally know peace.

The gorge erupted in cheers as the soldiers knelt before their new king. The stable boy who had once been treated as nothing more than dirt had claimed his rightful destiny, proving that true nobility is not defined by the circumstances of one’s birth, but by the strength of one's heart.
