A Haughty Fiancée Humiliated Her Mother-In-Law Until a Secret Deed Ruined Her Plans
Previously: Victoria thought she owned her future mother-in-law's luxury home and forced her to polish her shoes. But a sudden arrival of a family lawyer with a secret deed changed everything.
The Queen of the House
Thomas calmly stepped back, holding the legally certified documents out of Victoria's desperate reach.
"I assure you, Victoria, these papers are fully notarized and legally binding. As of nine o'clock yesterday morning, Helen is the sole and absolute owner of this estate. You have zero claim to this property,"he said, his tone final and unyielding.
Victoria spun around to Julian, her hands gripping his shoulders tightly.
"Julian! Do something! Call your lawyers! You can't let your mother take our home away from us!"she cried, her arrogant facade completely shattered. But Julian looked at his fiancée, then down at his mother's tear-stained face. For the first time, he saw Victoria's true, ugly nature. He slowly peeled her hands off his shoulders.
"She didn't take anything, Victoria. You did this to yourself,"Julian said softly, his voice filled with deep regret.
"How could you treat my mother like that? I was blind, but now I see exactly who you are."
Helen stepped forward, standing tall and proud in her white dress. She looked at Victoria with a calm, powerful serenity.
"You wanted me to know my place, Victoria,"Helen said, her voice echoing with newfound strength.
"My place is right here, in the home my husband built. And your place is outside. Pack your bags and leave my house immediately."
With no legal leg to stand on and Julian refusing to defend her, a humiliated Victoria had no choice but to gather her things and exit the mansion in disgrace. As the heavy oak doors shut behind her, Julian fell to his knees, begging his mother for forgiveness. Helen embraced her son, knowing that her husband's foresight had saved their family from a lifetime of misery. True dignity can never be stripped away by the arrogant, and greed always paves its own path to ruin.
