Previously: When Richard threw his pregnant ex-wife Olivia onto the cobblestone driveway to impress his new lover, he thought he had won. But Olivia’s phone call to her father changed everything.

A Swift and Just Eviction

The attorney handed the official documents to the head of the security team, who quickly scanned the pages, nodded, and immediately stepped away from Richard. The guards, who had been hired by the estate's management trust, now recognized who truly signed their paychecks.

"You have exactly one hour to pack your personal belongings and vacate the premises, Mr. Miller,"

the attorney announced. "Furthermore, we are executing the morality clause in your business financing agreement. Since you have been publicly exposing the Vance family to reputational harm, the trust is pulling all venture capital from your firm, effective immediately."

Richard gasped, clutching the stone balustrade for support as the reality of his ruin crashed down upon him. Without Arthur’s funding, his company would be bankrupt by the end of the week. Sarah, realizing that the wealthy lifestyle she had fought so hard to steal was evaporating before her eyes, let go of Richard's arm and took a step back, looking at him with sudden disdain.

Olivia stood tall, her tears dried, replaced by a sense of profound peace. She looked at the man who had tried so desperately to break her, feeling nothing but pity for his greed. Her father’s security detail quickly gathered her scattered clothes, placing them gently back into her suitcase and loading them into the SUV.

"Let's go home, sweetheart,"

Arthur said softly, opening the passenger door for his daughter. Olivia smiled, taking one last look at the grand mansion that was no longer her prison, but a symbol of her liberation.

As the SUVs drove away, Richard and Sarah were left standing on the cobblestones, arguing bitterly over who was to blame for their sudden downfall. Olivia realized that true strength didn't come from a grand house or a wealthy husband, but from the family who stood by you when the world tried to throw you away.

True wealth is found in loyalty and love, and those who build their lives on betrayal will always find themselves locked out in the cold.

The End
