Arthur stood trembling on his own two feet, his mind unable to process the physical reality of what was happening. He took a hesitant step forward, then another. The cold marble floor felt real beneath his soles. He looked down at the dirty young man who was now standing up, wiping his hands on his tattered sweatshirt.

"How... how did you do this?" Arthur stammered, his voice shaking with a mixture of awe and terror. "Who are you?"

"My name is Leo," the boy replied, his voice flat and devoid of joy. "And I need that million dollars tonight. In cash or a certified wire transfer. Now."

Arthur, still overwhelmed by the miracle, nodded quickly.

"Of course, whatever you want. But you must tell me what kind of technology or medicine this is! I can make you richer than you ever dreamed!"

"It’s not medicine, Arthur," Leo said, using the billionaire's first name. "It's a family gift. A gift that you turned your back on years ago."

Leo reached into his pocket and pulled out a crumpled, faded photograph, handing it to Arthur. Arthur’s eyes widened as he recognized the man in the photo.
