My Husband Watched Calmly as His Mistress Attacked Me in the Maternity Ward
A Nightmare in the Maternity Ward
The sterile smell of bleach and the bright, buzzing fluorescent lights of the maternity ward did nothing to calm Olivia’s racing heart. Clutching her heavily pregnant belly, she collapsed onto the cold linoleum floor of the hallway, a sharp, stabbing pain radiating through her abdomen. She was only days away from her due date, but instead of preparing for a joyous birth, she was fighting for her life.
Suddenly, the double doors swung open, and Nicole charged in. Dressed in a striking burgundy dress that contrasted sharply with the sterile hospital environment, Nicole’s eyes were wild with rage. "You think you can just have his baby and take everything?" Nicole screamed, lunging directly at Olivia's defenseless body.
"Get away from her!" Olivia screamed, tears streaming down her face as she cowered, trying to shield her unborn child.
But Nicole didn't stop. She raised her hands, claws out, ready to strike. Just as she was about to reach Olivia, Dr. Foster, an experienced and deeply respected obstetrician, rushed forward. With a sharp grunt of exertion, the older doctor threw his body between the two women. He blocked Nicole's frantic strikes, grabbing her wrists with surprising strength. With one powerful, decisive motion, Dr. Foster flung Nicole backward, sending her crashing heavily to the floor.
The hallway descended into chaos. Nurses gasped and backed away in shock, but one figure remained completely unmoved. Standing calmly against the wall was Richard, Olivia’s husband, wearing a pristine light grey suit. He didn't rush to help his weeping wife. He didn't try to stop Nicole. He simply watched the violence unfold with a cold, detached expression that sent shivers down Olivia's spine. As Dr. Foster stood protectively over Olivia, checking her pulse, the horrific truth began to dawn on her: her husband wanted this to happen.
