My Husband Whipped Me at My Birthday Party, So I Called My Five Brothers — They Trapped Everyone Inside
Previously: At my own party, my husband whipped me for spilling wine on his mistress. When they cut me down, I made one call. My five brothers arrived, and the mansion gates slammed shut.
The Moretti Brothers Enter the Ballroom Like a Storm
The front doors burst open, and my five brothers walked in like they owned the place. Dominic led the way, his black suit perfectly tailored, his eyes scanning the room with cold precision. Matteo followed, his hands in his pockets, his expression unreadable. Luca carried a leather briefcase, the kind that held secrets. Gabriel adjusted his glasses, already taking mental notes. Nico brought up the rear, closing the doors behind him with a soft click.
"Elena," Dominic said, his voice low. "Show us the marks."

I turned around and lifted my dress, letting them see the welts and bruises across my back. The room fell silent. Even the champagne bubbles seemed to stop.
Nico let out a breath. "You broke the first rule of the Moretti family."
"Which rule?" Adrian stammered, stepping backward.
"You hurt one of ours," Nico said. "And you think you can walk away?"
Adrian laughed, a nervous, brittle sound. "This is ridiculous. You can't just barge into my home and threaten me. I have security."
"Your security," Matteo said, "is currently tied up in the garden shed. We had a little chat. They were very cooperative."
Margaret stepped forward, her face twisted with outrage. "How dare you! This is assault! I'll call the police!"
"Go ahead," Luca said, pulling a folder from his briefcase. "But before you do, let me show you something." He opened the folder and spread photographs across the marble floor. "These are aerial shots of the Cole Construction site in Queens. Notice anything? The land belongs to a trust that was dissolved in 2019. You never had legal rights to it."
Richard's face went red. "That's absurd. We have lawyers."
"I am the lawyer," Luca said. "And I've already filed a federal complaint against Cole Construction for fraud, bribery, and tax evasion. The paperwork is on its way to the FBI as we speak."
Gabriel stepped forward, adjusting his glasses. "And while you're dealing with that, I've been going through your offshore accounts. The ones in the Caymans. The ones you thought were untouchable."
Adrian's father stumbled back. "You can't do this. We have connections."
"Your connections," Nico said, "are already running. I have a file on every politician you've ever bribed, every inspector you've ever paid off. By sunrise, they'll be scrambling to distance themselves from you."
Vanessa tried to slip away, but Nico was already blocking the door. "Not so fast, Vanessa. I've got a file on you too."
"What do you want?" Vanessa whispered, her voice trembling.
"I want you to feel what I felt," I said, stepping forward. "But I'm not like you. I don't need to whip you. I just need you to watch everything you love crumble."
The guests were murmuring, pulling out their phones. Some were recording. Adrian's face was a mask of panic.
"You can't do this," he said. "I'm your husband."
"Not anymore," I said. "I filed for divorce three days ago. Along with a restraining order. And a criminal complaint for assault."
Margaret let out a shrill laugh. "You think anyone will believe you? You're nobody."
"I'm a Moretti," I said. "And the Morettis protect their own."
Dominic stepped closer to Adrian. "You have one hour to let us leave with Elena. After that, the police arrive, and so do the cameras. Your choice."
Adrian's hands were shaking. "You're bluffing."
"Try me," Dominic said.
The tension in the room was thick enough to cut. I could feel every pair of eyes on me, but I didn't flinch. I had waited for this moment for months.
Then Vanessa did something unexpected. She started to laugh.
"You think you've won?" she said, her voice sharp. "Adrian and I have been together for over a year. He was going to leave you anyway. You're just saving him the trouble."
I smiled at her. "I know. I've known for months. I have pictures, messages, even a recording of the two of you in his office. Do you want me to play it for the guests?"
Vanessa's face went white.
"I think we've heard enough," Richard said, stepping forward. "What do you want, Elena? Money? A settlement?"
"I want you to know who you're dealing with," I said. "And I want you to remember this night every time you see a red stain."
Nico walked to the champagne tower and picked up a glass of red wine. He handed it to me.
I looked at Adrian, at Vanessa, at Margaret, at Richard. Then I raised the glass.
"To new beginnings," I said, and I poured the wine over Adrian's head.
The guests gasped. Adrian stood there, dripping, his face a mask of rage and shock.
Dominic put a hand on my shoulder. "Let's go home, Elena."
I nodded, and we walked out of the ballroom together, my brothers surrounding me like a shield. Behind us, the Cole family was left in ruins, their secrets spilling out like the wine on the floor.
But as we stepped into the cool night air, I knew this wasn't over. The Coles were not the type to go quietly. And Vanessa still had a card or two up her sleeve.
