Previously: When Ciara's arrogant ex-fiancé tried to throw her off a private jet, he had no idea she was the new owner of the entire aviation company.

Harold Vance did not call security. Instead, he walked right past Marcus and extended his hand to Ciara.

"Welcome aboard, Ms. Sterling," Harold said warmly. "I hope your first inspection of our fleet is going well."

Marcus gasped, his eyes nearly bulging out of his head.

"Harold? What are you doing? She's a waitress! She's a nobody!"

"Silence, Marcus!" Harold snapped, his voice echoing in the cabin. "Ms. Sterling is the founder of Sterling Aviation. She purchased my remaining shares yesterday morning. She is now the majority owner and CEO of this entire company. And as for your engagement to my daughter..."

Alyssa stepped forward, slipping her engagement ring off her finger. She tossed it onto the small mahogany table next to Marcus.

A Triumphant Departure

"It's over, Marcus," Alyssa said coldly. "I hired a private investigator last week because I suspected you were using me. I know about the other women. And I know you only wanted my father's money."

Marcus looked from the ring to Alyssa, then to Harold, and finally to Ciara. His entire world had collapsed in the span of five minutes. His career was over, his wealthy marriage was ruined, and his reputation in the aviation industry was completely destroyed.

"You are terminated immediately, Captain Vance," Ciara said, her voice echoing with finality. "And I will personally ensure that every luxury charter in the country knows exactly why you were let go. Now, please get off my plane."

With slumped shoulders and his head bowed in utter defeat, Marcus walked out of the cabin and back down the airstrip, alone under the scorching sun.

Ciara looked out the window, watching him disappear into the distance. She felt no anger, only a profound sense of peace. The girl who had been broken by a sticky note was gone. In her place stood a woman who had flown higher than anyone ever thought possible.

True success is not about seeking revenge; it is about building an empire so high that your past can never reach you.

The End
