As David forcefully wheeled Lily toward the house, he didn't realize that the neutralizing solution Toby had used was rapidly washing away years of chemical suppression. Two police cruisers and a sleek black sedan pulled onto the lawn. Within minutes, a shattered David was placed in handcuffs, facing charges of medical abuse, fraud, and grand larceny. The estate lawyer assured Lily that her mother's entire fortune was now safely under her sole control.
