Richard looked down at Lily, who was slowly stopping her tears, feeling safe in her father’s strong embrace. Then, he looked back at Eleanor, a calm, dangerous smile spreading across his face.

"You really should have read the fine print of that prenuptial agreement more carefully, Eleanor,"

Richard said, his voice deadly quiet.

Eleanor frowned, her smug expression faltering.

Richard explained, pulling another document up on his phone.

"Section twelve, clause four: the 'Moral Turpitude and Child Endangerment' clause. It states very clearly that if either party is found guilty of emotional, physical, or psychological abuse against any child in the household, the agreement is rendered completely null and void. You get absolutely nothing."

Eleanor’s jaw dropped. The color rushed out of her face once more, this time leaving her completely pale.

"No... that’s not possible. I didn't hit her!"

she stammered, panic finally taking over.

"Emotional abuse and forced labor of a minor are more than enough,"

Richard replied coldly.

"And I didn't just record that footage. It was automatically uploaded to a secure cloud server, and a copy has already been sent to my attorney—and the local police department."

Right on cue, the distant wail of police sirens began to echo down the quiet suburban street. Eleanor gasped, looking around frantically as if searching for an escape, but there was nowhere to run. Within minutes, officers arrived at the mansion. Armed with the undeniable video evidence, they escorted a sobbing, handcuffed Eleanor out of the house.

As the police cruisers drove away, Richard knelt down to Lily's eye level, gently wiping the remaining tears from her cheeks. He promised her that no one would ever hurt her again, and that his wealth meant nothing compared to her safety.
