Previously: When eighteen-year-old Dylan stepped into the rodeo ring with a lethal black bull, the crowd screamed in terror—but his late father's final words had promised him a miracle.

A Deadly Confrontation

The silence in the arena was absolute. Nobody moved; nobody breathed. The "killer" bull, who had supposedly trampled Dylan's father to death three months ago, was standing perfectly still, resting his heavy muzzle against the boy's palm. But the peace was shattered when Frank climbed over the metal safety railing, a heavy hunting rifle gripped tightly in his hands.

"Step away from the beast, Dylan!"
Frank shouted, his voice shaking with an anger that didn't match the situation.
"It's a wild animal. It's the monster that killed your father, and I'm putting it down right now!"

Dylan instinctively stepped in front of Ranger, shielding the giant bull.

"No! He didn't do it! Look at him, Frank! He remembers the bandana. My dad trained him with it. He would never hurt us!"

Frank took a slow, menacing step forward, raising the rifle. The golden light caught a heavy silver buckle on Frank's belt. Dylan's heart stopped. It was a custom-made champion buckle, engraved with his father’s initials, T.M. It was the very buckle his father wore the night he died—the one the police claimed had been lost in the tragic accident. Dylan’s gaze darted from the buckle to Frank’s cold, calculating eyes.

"Where did you get that buckle, Frank?"
Dylan asked, his voice dropping to a whisper that echoed in the quiet arena. Frank froze, his jaw tightening.
"I don't know what you're talking about, kid. Now move, or the beast isn't the only thing getting hurt today."
The crowd in the stands began to murmur as Grace and others realized that this was no longer a simple rescue mission—it was a confrontation over a dark, hidden truth.
