Previously: Victoria thought she could humiliate her fiancé's gentle mother to assert dominance in her new home. But a sudden arrival by the family lawyer turned her cruel triumph into an absolute nightmare.

A Shocking Revelation

The silence in the room was deafening. Victoria stared at Thomas, her jaw clenched in disbelief. "That is impossible," she hissed, taking a step away from Helen. "Julian and I signed the prenuptial agreement last week. His father's will clearly stated that the estate would pass to Julian upon our marriage!"

Thomas calmly opened his leather folder and pulled out a certified legal document, holding it up for everyone to see. "Your prenuptial agreement was indeed signed last week, Victoria. However, what you did not know is that Julian's father added a specific clause. He knew of your demanding nature and wanted to ensure his wife would never be left at your mercy."

Julian stepped forward, his eyes wide with shock. "Thomas, is this true? My father did this?"

Thomas nodded gently at the young man. "Yes, Julian. The very morning the engagement contract was finalized, the deed to this entire estate was legally transferred solely to your mother, Helen. It was your father's final act of protection. This house does not belong to you, Julian, and it certainly does not belong to Victoria."

Victoria’s eyes darted wildly between the lawyer and the paper. Her carefully constructed future of luxury and power was crumbling before her eyes. "This is a lie! A cheap setup!" she screamed, lunging forward to grab the papers from Thomas’s hands.

But Julian intercepted her, grabbing her arm. He looked at his fiancée, seeing the raw greed and malice in her eyes for the very first time. The illusion of the sweet, sophisticated woman he thought he loved was completely shattered. He looked down at his mother, who was still kneeling on the floor, weeping silently. The realization of his own blindness hit him like a physical blow.
