Previously: Evelyn mocked a seemingly ordinary delivery driver at a high-end car meet, confident he could never afford a Porsche. But his response left her completely speechless.

A Shocking Turn of Fortune

Evelyn’s laugh died in her throat. She watched, her eyes narrowing, as Wyatt slowly reached into the pocket of his fitted grey crewneck. The crowd gathered closer, sensing the sudden shift in gravity. The smug satisfaction on Evelyn's face began to flicker, replaced by a subtle, uneasy tension.

Wyatt pulled his hand from his pocket, revealing a sleek, custom carbon-fiber key fob. With a casual flick of his wrist, he pressed the unlock button. Instantly, the black Porsche’s headlights flashed a bright, welcoming amber. The side mirrors unfolded with a soft, mechanical hum, and the engine roared to life with a deep, menacing growl that reverberated through the pavement beneath their feet.

Evelyn took a step back, her face turning pale. Her mind raced, desperately searching for an excuse to save face in front of the growing crowd.

"You're... you're just the valet!" she stammered, her voice losing its sharp edge. "You stole those keys, or you're delivering them to the real owner! There is no way a delivery boy owns a machine like this."

Wyatt didn't even have to answer. Before he could speak, a sleek black SUV pulled up to the curb with screeching tires. The door flung open, and a middle-aged man in a tailored suit stepped out, looking frantic. It was Richard, Evelyn’s father.

Richard scanned the crowd, his eyes landing on Wyatt. Ignoring his daughter completely, Richard rushed over, his face flushed with anxiety. To Evelyn's absolute horror, her father bowed his head slightly in a gesture of profound respect.

"Mr. Vance! I am so incredibly sorry I'm late," Richard gasped, extending a trembling hand. "I didn't realize you would be arriving at the meet so early."

Evelyn stared at her father, completely frozen. "Dad? What are you doing?" she whispered, her voice trembling. "He's just the guy who delivers our mail!"
