My Sister and Her Groom Publicly Humiliated Me, So I Exposed Their Darkest Secret
Previously: When Chloe was pushed to the floor and humiliated by the bride and groom, the guests laughed. But they didn't know Chloe held a secret that would destroy the marriage before the night ended.
The Ultimate Reckoning
Chloe slowly reached into the hidden pocket of her champagne gown and pulled out her phone. "You're right," she said softly. "Dad might have believed you if it was just my word against yours. But I didn't just find the files, Andrew. I sent them."
Megan’s perfect bridal smile completely evaporated.
"What did you do?"she whispered, her voice cracking.
"Before I came down to the dance floor, I emailed the complete forensic audit to Dad, his legal team, and the local authorities," Chloe said, looking her sister dead in the eye. "And if you check your watch, the wedding toasts are about to begin."
Panic erupted. Andrew lunged for Chloe's phone, but the heavy library doors suddenly rattled. The lock clicked, and the door was thrown open by the estate’s security detail. Standing behind them was Chloe and Megan’s father, Arthur, his face pale with a mixture of rage and heartbreak.
The confrontation spilled back out into the grand reception room, right in front of the stunned guests. Arthur took the microphone, but instead of offering a toast to the newlyweds, he announced that the marriage was over. Within minutes, flashing blue lights illuminated the estate's grand driveway. Two police officers entered the floral-draped hall, placing handcuffs on Andrew while he was still in his midnight blue tuxedo.
Megan screamed and begged for forgiveness, but Arthur turned his back on her, walking over to wrap a comforting arm around Chloe. The crowd that had cheered Chloe’s humiliation just moments ago now watched in stunned silence as the bride and groom were ruined.
Chloe took a deep breath, feeling the heavy weight of betrayal finally lift from her shoulders. She had lost her sister, but she had saved her family from ruin. In the end, the truth has a way of rising, no matter how hard someone tries to kick it down.
