A Terrified Boy Begged a Biker for Help, Whispering a Name That Froze the Room
Previously: When an eleven-year-old boy burst into a gritty biker bar begging for protection, a tough biker laughed—until the child revealed his legendary father's name.
The Gathering Storm
The heavy iron bolts slid into place with a deafening clang as the bartenders secured the entrance. The casual chatter of the bar died instantly, replaced by the metallic clicks of handguns being checked and shotguns being racked. The bikers of the Rusty Anchor didn't know who the boy was, but they knew Brock. If Brock was rattled, the devil himself was at the gates.
Brock ushered Hunter behind the heavy oak bar, kneeling down to look him in the eyes. "Keep your head down, kid. No matter what you hear, you stay put." Hunter nodded, his small hand clutching the gold coin so tightly his knuckles turned white.
Marcus, Brock's second-in-command, approached with a grim look on his face. "Brock, what's going on? Who is this kid, and why are we locking down for a stray?"
"He's John Wick's boy," Brock said, his voice barely a whisper. "Years ago, before I settled down here, I was on the wrong side of a contract in Chicago. Wick had a gun to my head. Instead of pulling the trigger, he gave me a choice, and he handed me a coin. He told me if anyone ever came to me with that same coin, I owed him their life. I swore a blood oath."
Marcus's eyes widened. Before he could speak, the high-pitched squeal of heavy-duty tires echoed from the dusty parking lot outside. Through the slatted blinds of the reinforced windows, they saw three sleek, midnight-black SUVs pull up. The doors opened, and several men dressed in tailored, bulletproof tactical suits stepped out, carrying high-caliber automatic weapons.
A man in a sharp grey suit stepped forward, holding a megaphone. His voice was cold, polite, and completely devoid of mercy.
"We know the asset is inside," the man announced. "Deliver the boy to us in ninety seconds, and we will leave this establishment standing. Refuse, and we will burn it to the ground with everyone inside."
”Refuse, and we will burn it to the ground with everyone inside."
