A Terrified Brother Thought Bikers Were After Him Until His Sister Revealed The Truth
The Diner Confrontation
The neon sign of the Route 9 Diner buzzed with a low, irritating hum, casting a moody pink and blue glow over the cracked linoleum checkerboard floor. Inside, the air smelled of stale grease and cheap coffee. Leo sat alone in a corner red leather booth, trying desperately to blend into the shadows. He clutched a simple, half-eaten hamburger, his hands trembling slightly. For three days, he had been running, hoping he had finally put enough distance between himself and his mistakes.
Then, the diner's heavy glass door chimed.
Leo froze as a young blonde woman in an oversized dark green hoodie slipped inside. It was Lily, his estranged sister. But she wasn't alone. She didn't even look toward Leo. Instead, her eyes were locked on a massive, burly biker sitting in the center booth. Marcus, a heavily tattooed man with a graying beard and a black bandanna, looked up as Lily approached him.
The diner grew deathly quiet. Lily walked down the narrow aisle with a cold, unwavering determination. She stopped right in front of Marcus, leaning down until they were practically forehead-to-forehead. In a sharp, icy whisper that cut through the silence, she said:
"You know what you have to do. Right now. No hesitation."
Marcus didn’t blink. His massive chest rose and fell before he gave a slow, ominous grunt.
"Bust it."
With a scraping of metal legs against the tile, the entire biker gang rose from their booths in unison. They were towering, intimidating figures clad in heavy leather. Leo’s heart hammered against his ribs. He dropped his hamburger onto the paper plate, staring at the sudden wall of leather and denim blocking his only exit.
"Uh, that's not good,"
Leo whispered to himself, bracing for the worst.
