A Terrified Mother Hides From the Police to Save Her Little Daughter
Previously: Hiding in a dark, rainy salvage yard, Sarah holds her breath as police flashlights draw closer. But the officers aren't there to rescue her—they are working for her husband.
A Treacherous Trap
Sarah knew she couldn't stay hidden forever. The flashlight beams were crisscrossing closer, their cold light reflecting off the oily puddles. Clinging to Zoe, she began to crawl slowly through the mud, navigating the maze of mangled steel.
